Tweet Roundup - 16/11/2018

In what has been an emotional week for Fulham fans we launch our 'Tweets Roundup' feature.

There’s only one place to start.

Despite the underwhelming start to the season the news on Monday that Slavisa Jokanovic had been replaced as Head Coach was tough to take. Many fans decided to share their thoughts and memories of his time at the club and express gratitude for what Mr Jokanovic, and his staff, achieved during their time at the club.

This, from our outgoing Assistant Head Coach, summed up the shock on both sides

It was all a bit sad and probably best summed up by this great thread from @JoshFFC_

So good that it inspired @Rowan_FFC to make the video

Two key players from last season, and perhaps those who shone brightest under his leadership, were quick to share their thoughts

And the comments from the man himself were as classy as his conduct whilst at the club...

We wish you all the best and hope to see you back at the Cottage soon!

Now that we’ve gotten that out of our system there was the small matter of the club announcing Claudio Ranieri as Manager.

On Friday Ranieri held his first Press Conference since taking charge. Here's what was said and some of the tweets around it.

Strong words indeed. Time and results, will ultimately tell us whether the new man at the helm can turn things around. In the meantime, here's a few things you might have missed.

The Fulham Supporter's Trust were proud to sponsor the TOOFIF 30 Book Launch and Celebration on Wednesday 14th November at the Dukes Head. It was great to see so many faces at what was a wonderful evening celebrating TOOFIF and the work David Lloyd has put in over the last 30 years. Here are our favourite tweets from the night.

The book is available at and, in our opinion, is an excellent read which would make an ideal christmas present!

Congratulations to David and thanks to all who helped put the event on!

In other news Ryan Sessegnon excelled for England U21’s producing a couple of lovely crosses that we are looking forward to seeing more of in SW6

Marcus Bettinelli spent the week working hard with the England squad

One thing that really struck a chord was the egregious decision to award Richard Scudamore an out of touch, disproportionate £5m bonus, which Fulham would pay £250,000 towards. However good job clubs think he’s done, this is out of touch and over the top proposal for somebody already received large bonuses. We urge all clubs to reconsider position. Instead should use money for fans left out of pocket by late fixture changes for TV, reduce matchday ticket prices or grassroots football.

The Trust held its monthly meeting with the club on Monday 12th November. We are encouraged the club have appointed a contractor for the Riverside redevelopment, have reconsidered their stance to now support the £30 away ticket cap following structured dialogue with the FST and will be looking to implement changes to enhance the experience of away fans in the near future.

The notes in full for our November meeting with the club are available at: -

The Fulham Supporter's Trust is run by volunteers, representing its members, to raise issues and awareness about the things that matter to fans of our club. We are the democratic, independent voice for Fulham fans. Join us here, help make our voice stronger - your Trust, your voice, our club.
