Olympic Stadium Coalition on ‘Inside Out’
The Fulham Supporters’ Trust has been an active participant in the Olympic Stadium Coalition (OSC) since its inception in mid-2015.
The OSC has been successful in forcing the disclosure of the details of the agreement made between West Ham United and the London Legacy Development Corporation, despite strong legal opposition from the latter.
As more information has been gathered about the operational costs of the stadium and its cost to the UK taxpayer, the OSC has been supported in its efforts by many MPs and members of the Greater London Assembly.
These have resulted in an urgent investigation into the finances of the cost of the development by the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan.
Tomorrow evening, BBC1 London’s ‘Inside Out’ programme at 7.30pm will discuss the ongoing burden placed on the taxpayer by West Ham United’s publicly-subsidised stadium.
