The Fulham Supporters’ Trust wishes to send a public message of support to supporters of Leyton Orient as the Leyton Orient Fans’ Trust prepares for a special general meeting this evening where they will launch plans to save their football club.

The Fulham Supporters’ Trust greatly appreciated the support of the Leyton Orient Fans’ Trust and Orient fans gave our successful ‘Back to the Cottage’ campaign and has forged strong links with LOFT through our national afiliates, Supporters Direct and the Football Supporters’ Federation. The Trust has followed with increasing concern the runious regime ran by Francesco Becchetti and was alarmed to learn of the winding up petition served aganst Leyton Orient yesterday.

The Trust wishes LOFT every success with tonight’s meeting and stands ready to assist in whatever way possible to ensure that Orient’s proud 136-year history is prolonged and the interests of loyal supporters – the lifeblood of the club – are put front and centre of the club’s recovery effort.
