The Fulham Supporters’ Trust were delighted to see Fulham midfielder Adrion Pajaziti make his international debut for Albania in their 2-0 World Cup qualifying defeat by England at Wembley on Friday night.

Pajaziti, born in London, has been with Fulham’s academy since the age of twelve and was handed his senior debut by Marco Silva in Fulham’s League Cup win at Birmingham City in 2021. A star for the club’s age-group sides over a number of years, the creative midfielder had previously earned youth international honours for Kosovo and Albania and replaced Qazim Laci with twelve minutes remaining of the tie at Wembley.

The Trust also warmly congratulates former Fulham defender Dan Burn on his first appearance for England under Thomas Tuchel at the match. We are proud of our work with Fulham Football Club’s category one academy and our continued sponsorship of the Johnny Haynes Academy Player of the Year award, most recently won last season by Colombian senior international right-back Devan Tanton.
